Provide administrative assistance to the Human Resource Coordinator, which will aid in the efficient handling of personnel matters.
Assists staff, supervisors, employees, and retirees in all matters relating to the employee benefit programs.
Process payroll in an efficient and confidential matter ensuring accuracy of time and payment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
A.
Ensures payroll is confidentially and accurately prepared and processed for payment in a timely manner.
B.
Prepare and submit payroll taxes in an accurate and timely manner.
C.
Prepare Quarterly tax returns and corresponding reports in an accurate and timely manner.
D.
Prepare, balance and file all payroll related reports with established guidelines of state/federal regulations in a timely manner.
E.
Manage the performance review process by distributing payroll change information to appraisers and ensuring completion of reviews in a timely manner.
Ensuring that all pay changes are recorded and applied in a timely manner.
F.
Receive, vet and forward job applications to department heads for their review.
Maintain applications received for appropriate periods per BRMEMC guidelines.
G.
Assists department heads or delegates with interview process for potential new hires.
H.
Direct the hiring process by distributing information to prospective new hires to ensure all necessary testing's and screenings are complete before employment begins.
I.
Perform onboarding for new employees ensuring that new employees are familiar with policies, procedures, benefits, and timelines.
J.
Process and maintain employment records for new hires ensuring the accuracy and completion of all necessary forms.
K.
Advise and provide assistance in disciplinary matters ensuring all policies and procedures be followed consistently.
L.
Enroll and administer all employee related benefits, i.
e.
, insurance, retirement, in accordance with cooperative policies and procedures.
Assists employees in understanding all benefit programs.
M.
Maintain personnel files consistent with the approved filling system, review files at least annually for inactive or obsolete data, and remove data for relocation or discard, according to approved plans and sequences to enable efficient retrieval of documents when needed.
N.
Establish and maintain procedures and processes to comply with federal/state mandated laws applicable to employees' privacy and rights, furnishing information and/or documents deemed necessary to all parties.
O.
Credit Union Service Advisor to Go Energy Financial Credit Union, administer and process employee related benefits following the Credit Union's policies and procedures.
P.
Prepare and distribute employee's yearly W-2 forms and Miscellaneous 1099 forms to vendors in a timely manner and file supporting documentation to appropriate governmental branch.
Q.
Prepare and distribute ACA-1095 statements to employees and file supporting documentation to appropriate governmental branch.
R.
Complete government- required reports and documentation including the EEO-1 form, Form 5500 among others to ensure proper reporting requirements are met.
S.
Prepare censuses and complete questionnaires necessary for annual renewal quotes for employee benefits.
T.
Prepare Worker's Compensation Audit information.
U.
Assists Accounting department with Annual Audit by providing payroll information from the HR database.
V.
Ensure prompt payment of all employee premium related billing.
W.
Perform off boarding for separated employees X.
Assists other departments as needed with internal employee information and updates, including but not limited to Safety report and board report data.
Y.
Stay current on all industry, federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Z.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
